F1 2010 is the coolest (and much more difficult) in the rain!

F1 2010, Formula 1 official game recently released by Codemasters for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is not for everyone. Despite adopting several "facilitators" embodied in other games of the producer, as the ability to "turn back time" to correct a turn-in, the game is challenging even on the easier levels.

Without a lot of patience, and also without a steering wheel with pedals and exchange, what do I do? I share the last rows with Bruno Senna, I decide for shorter races, equivalent to 10% of a full GP, and sometimes get a fifth place in the Spanish Grand Prix. The performance is directly linked to the sky: rain, drizzle, pitiless sun: all influence the choice of tires and some adjustments in the car.

The first practice until the "race Sunday", the sun can lead to a drizzle, which evolves into a storm and makes it more fun - and difficult. The tires lose grip, the track is slippery and visibility becomes an abstract concept.

In the pictures below, I did a little test with McLaren's Jenson Button. I started at Interlagos one under the most intense rainfall that F1 2010 is capable of producing. I changed the camera mode to "inside the cockpit and went ahead, being overtaken by Barrichello, Alonso and Schumacher, and then run on some corners and break up the wheel on the wall.

It is these attitudes that you perceive as inconsequential F1 2010 is a great game for those who take racing seriously, but can also entertain those who prefer racing wrecks and more hallucinatory than cold techniques.

The images were captured from the PC version. Machine used: Intel Core i5 2.4 GHz, 4 GB RAM, Geforce GT335M, resolution 1600 × 900 (notebook).
