Presenting the prize, the Press Jury President Dubravka Lakic said, that can not be called human beings, and justify their existence on this planet, if we‘ll not plant a tree once in our lives. It was a hint of poetic visual sense of the tree, which shows  M. Sargsyan 's film "Lernavan.

"Lernavan tells about the homeland, such that what once knew no longer exists. The center of the film - a father and son looking for father's homeland "Lernavan. However, there is no such place and no one even heard it. After a long strange trip by coach, father and son come to a place where neither domestic nor human, neither natural nor earth ... rests exclusively white - as white, still blank sheet - the mountains.
