CEO Yves Guillemot on hand to accept night’s big award at trade magazine’s annual awards ceremony.
Ubisoft had a good night at yesterday’s MCV Awards, taking home the event’s most prestigious award, the Grand Prix.
The award, the only one selected solely by the trade magazine’s
editorial team, recognises “commercial and critical success plus the
highest levels of support and efficiency at trade level.”
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot received the award in person. The firm is
celebrating 25 years in the business and it was victorious elsewhere on
the night, with UK sales director Darren Bowen awarded the retail
advisory board’s Special Recognition prize.
EA was named Best Publisher, heralded for its strong performance in 2010 and start to 2011, with Crysis 2 currently atop the UK software charts. See below for the full list of winners.
