Taylor Swift wins top country entertainer prize - Academy of Country Music

Taylor Swift was voted entertainer of the year at the Academy of Country Music awards, though Miranda Lambert ended up the night's big winner.

Accepting her award, 21-year-old Swift said she was "just losing my mind". "The fact that this is from the fans makes it so special," she added.
Lambert, 27, won best single, song and video for The House that Built Me and retained her top female vocalist crown.
Singer Brad Paisley was named top male vocalist for the fifth year running.
"This is way too many for me," he told the Las Vegas audience, before joking: "I don't know who got paid what."
Swift - whose album Speak Now sold a million copies in its first week of release last year - beat fellow nominees Lambert and Paisley to the entertainer of the year award.

Keith Urban, Jason Alden and Toby Keith were also shortlisted for the fan-voted accolade.
Trio Lady Antebellum, who won five Grammys earlier this year, won trophies for album and vocal group of the year.

Other winners included Sugarland, who took the vocal duo of the year award, and best new artists Perry - a trio made up of two brothers and a sister.

Performers on the night included Steven Tyler, from Aerosmith, who duetted with country singer Carrie Underwood on her hit Undo It as well as on his band's classic Walk This Way.
Meanwhile, Rihanna performed her song California King Bed with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles.
