The Perfect Pair: Find the Right Shades for Your Shape

Finding the perfect pair of shades to compliment your unique facial shape is sometimes no easy task. Check out these tips to find the perfect shades to compliment your special shape!

Round
In order to elongate a rounder face, look for frames that are equal to or slightly wider than the broadest point of your face. Avoid any Elton John or Harry Potter-esque circular spectacles and instead experiment with angular or rectangle shades. to compliment your soft shape.

Diamond
Diamond faces with wide or high cheek bones and narrower foreheads and chins will sparkle in oval sunglasses. Soft curves will flatter the contour of the face but make sure that your frames are no wider than the top of your cheekbones.

Heart-shaped
The lovely heart-shaped face is widest at the forehead and tapers down at the jaw. Shades drawing attention to the brow will soften the lower portion of the face. Try sporting a pair of classic strait line aviators, ray bans with rimless bottoms, or even some retro cat-eyes to compliment your sweet shape.

Square
If you are looking for shades to soften the strong jaw line, broad forehead and wide cheekbones of your square-shaped face, reduce angles with curvy styles. Soften your strong visage with oval, round or cat-eye frames.

 Oval
Lucky for those out there with oval faces, almost any style will fit nicely with your features. Take advantage of your diverse choice in styles and try rocking a variety of unique specs!

Oblong
In order to shorten an oblong face stay away from frames extending too far beyond the broadest point of the face. Big shades with vertical lines will dazzle and balance your longer face.
