Best Album 2010 - by MTV

Shakira - Sale el Sol. Shakira showed us in 2010 that despite being a Spanish only album she still has more than what it takes from stunning features, great dance moves and undeniable talent.

Enrique Iglesias - Euphoria. We are not sure if people are voting for his sexy abs, his great single "I Like It" or actually the LP. Nevertheless, our hot Spaniard still melts hearts and stirs up passion and energy like no other.

David Guetta - One Love. We love seeing David in this list because it shows how European we are right? A master DJ of electronica he has totally expanded into pop collaborations with global supers like Kelly Rowland, Akon, Kid Cudi, BEP, Ne-Yo and Estelle to name a few. Truly gifted showing leading edge music evolution yet still partying at 43!

Usher - Raymond Vs. Raymond. He can sing, he can dance, he is sexy and he claims to be the next King of Pop. Well, let's drop the last one but there is no doubting his hugeness with "OMG" and "DJ Got Us Falling In Love" although not technically on this album. Huge buzz and acolades to one of the strongest R&B singers out there.

Katy Perry - Teenage Dream. Almost all grown up - kind of..with Teenage Dream Katy brought candy decadence and hip hop to "California Gurls" while revisiting the No. 1 teenage drama theme with "Teenage Dream." And then she did something really cool - she told us to be our best, to shine no matter what and to above all believe in ourselves with "Firework." Oh please tell us quirky senseless Katy isn't gone ..evolution is certainly in the making as she scores No.1 with all three.

Miley Cyrus - Can't Be Tamed. Miley is the mystery horse here in Europe with nothing particularly spectacular happening since her racy "Can't Be Tamed" teenage video and yet fans love her. She also was the No.1 gal for Your Favorite Video 2010 vote off. We love Miley..I mean you do!!

Rihanna - Loud. Rihanna has balanced all our emotions this year finishing off her Rated R dark dungeon nightmare only to emerge in glistening fields of red and passion. Loud brought sassy, sexy and flaming coiffure back to the stage with stunning hits "Only Girl (In The World)" and "What's My Name" ft Drake. Plus, that tiny secret with Eminem that created earthquakes through the planet - "Love The Way You Lie." Amaaazing.

Beyonce - I Am Sasha Fierce. We can only bow to Beyonce who has ruled the world in music and money in the last couple of years. Eventhough her LP dropped in late Nov. 08, she has managed to convert almost 70% of all it's songs to bonafide hits plus you were probably loving the extra she posted this year with "Why Don't You Love Me."

Ke$ha - Animal. This girl reminds me of Version 2.0 of the Beastie Boyz - Fight For Your Right To Party. In many ways, over the top lyrics, outrageous gestures and FU attitude play a role yet Ke$ha melds electro-dance pop that makes you want to get up and shake your fist too. Some say juvenile but we think there is much more to this avant garde artist.

Eminem - Recovery. Back on the top of Hip Hop, Eminem also crossed over well into the pop world with Rihanna and a powerful life story that both cannot deny. Authentic rings true on this superior effort to Relapse, a coming out and placing everything on the line to find that he's "Not Afraid." Tongue pleasing poetry at the top of its game in rhyme, wit and sentiment gave Eminem this year's No.1 honor.
