The Miami Heat continued to look like the elite team many envisioned in the offseason as they defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 88-78 for their fifth straight win. Dwyane Wade had a team-high 25 points and a career-high 14 rebounds while LeBron James added 17 points as the Heat continued to play inspired defense in achieving their longest winning streak of the season. 


Red Bull Formula One driver Mark Webber has revealed in his newly-published autobiography that he drove the final four races of last season with a broken shoulder. The Australian, who was in contention to win his first world championship right up to the final race in Abu Dhabi, sustained the fracture in a mountain bike accident prior to the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka in early October. 



Defender Moisés is desperate for SC Braga to "make history" by reaching the knockout phase as they prepare to face leaders FC Shakhtar Donetsk in their final Group H assignment. Defender Moisés is hoping SC Braga can "make history" by forging their way through to the UEFA Champions League knockout phase, though their prospects hang in the balance ahead of their final Group H outing away against leaders FC Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday. 


Eve Muirhead moved joint-top of the women's rankings at the European Curling Championships as Scotland won 9-6 over Finland. Muirhead and her team have now won five matches from six to sit alongside Russia and will look to hammer home their credentials for the next round against third ranked Sweden on Tuesday.
