Although the Cataclysm expansion isn't
out until December 7, World of Warcraft's patch 4.0.3a, which is
released today, will transform Azeroth in preporation for the add-on as
Deathwing rises from beneath it.
The patch will introduce a complete redesign of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor areas, completely revamping vanilla WoW areas such as the Barrens and Orgrimmar.
The full release of Cataclysm will raise the level cap from 80 to 85, introduce the Worgen and Goblin as playable races and add a number of new dungeons.
