Get Hot Hair (Even in Chilly Weather)

Dry scalps, brittle hair, weak ends? No, thanks. We know the cool temps can take a toll on your tresses, so we’re dishing some tips on how to keep your locks lookin’ fine during the upcoming icy months. Take note before Jack Frost arrives...

  Add more moisture.
Cold weather means people crank the heat, which leads to dry hair. Add some moisture to your daily routine by using hydrating shampoo. It'll keep your locks moisturized without weighing it down, and have it looking soft and shiny during these dry, dull days.

 Don’t lather up as often.
A great tip for saving your locks during the cold is to resist washing them everyday. Weird right? Believe it or not, washing too often can strip your hair of it’s natural oils that keep it healthy. Roll out of bed, spritz on some texturizing spray and bolt. Or, twist locks into a messy bun for a look that’s coolly undone.

Protect your hair from heat.
If you’re gonna blow out your locks, apply a product that’ll ensure your hair will stay soft before you turn on the dryer. It will also keep your strands smooth and shiny. No frizz here!
