A Christie's exhibitor stands close to an artwork entitled 'The Whirling

Egyptian artist Mahmoud Said during a Christie's auction house
exhibition at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai, United Arab
Emirates, 24 October 2010. Christies will auction International Modern
and Contemporary Art at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel on October
26, while the watches and jewels go under the hammer the next day.
The Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain takes place in Paris’s Grand
Palais. Many wealthy buyers were hesitating, reflecting a sober mood in
strike-bound France, said exhibitors. However, one of the early sales was a
$2.8 million Lucio Fontana work
